The Cedar-Riverside neighborhood, named after the two main avenues in the neighborhood, is a vibrant, culturally diverse and conveniently located neighborhood located in-between downtown Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota’s West Bank. This triangular shaped central Minneapolis neighborhood is bound by Interstate 35W to the west and north, West River Parkway and the Mississippi to the north and east, and Interstate 94 to the south.

Additionally, Murphy Square, located in the southern portion of the neighborhood, is the oldest park in Minneapolis and features an abundance of wide open green space, walking paths and picnic areas.
Cedar Riverside is also connected to the Hiawatha Light Rail Line, which has one stop in the neighborhood, allowing residents to hop on the train for a short ride north to downtown Minneapolis or south to the Mall of America and Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport.
